  Watch this if you’ve ever pretended to like a band that you’ve never heard before. I would also recommend watching this sitting between your little brother and your mom in the theater. This movie really highlights sibling dynamics during transitional periods for both people (chris starting high school, Vivian going to college). The dialogue is powerful, real, and often makes you cringe in affinity with Chris’s struggle for belonging.
