Anatomy of a Murder 1959
The courtroom scenes were absolutely chaotic, I loved how Biegler, Lodwick and Dancer were like siblings arguing and the judge was the fed up parent who was so done with their shit. The level of pettiness in that courtroom was immaculate.

Pain and Glory 2019
I didn’t expect to like this film as much as I did, a truly beautifully made film about nostalgia and memory. How the power of memory can change dependent on what one chooses to remember. The film reflects the reality of rewriting your own history by not literally being able to change your past but in relation to choosing how you remember something in order to create an alternate reality.
