Geweldig verhaal over haat, radicalisering, groepsdruk en transformatie. Duidt op Derek’s agressie en haat als uiting van interne frustraties en woede waarbij hij beseft dat zijn status en daden de pijn en woede in zichzelf niet wegnemen. Haat maakt effectief blind en dat beseft hij tijdens zijn detentie. Het in vraag stellen van aangeleerde patronen vanuit de opvoeding is zeer moeilijk, maar super belangrijk en dat toont deze film zo mooi aan.
