    Patience. That's what I recommend with this one. Patience. It's a slow burn, so by the time the supernatural elements start, you've forgotten the genre of the film.

    That said, it does what few movies that try this manage to accomplish- it's entertaining even before the supernatural elements kick in. The story it tells is initially a quiet, tragic one, about people trapped in a life of crime and their personal tragedies. The theme consists through the entire film.

    As a fan of insects, specifically mosquitos, this movie hurt me. It is a pile of factual innacuracies in the shape of a film.
    As a fan of bad movies and the trope of 'meteor lands in small town and causes chaos', this was one of the best worst movies I've seen in years. So much happens. We get so little explanation. They know so little about how mosquitos work. The guy who originated the role of Leatherface is there. It's terrible and wonderful and definitely a favorite.
