Refreshing take on trope characters-- skinny school kid without a dad, genius workaholic father. Enjoyed Jennifer Connelly's & Mark Ruffalo's performances. Appreciated the sci-fi plot that's not overly complicated.

Still, did not find myself invested in the story or the characters. Sat there thinking that I could not care less if Earth 2050 were better or worse, or if Adam and Laura met again, or if Adam's dad lived longer that he should. Also, if you've seen Ryan Reynolds in his other films, you've essentially seen him in this one too.

    Movie's aren't a slice of life. They're a slice of cake.

I full star for Pushkin & the comfort he brings.

Well, tragedy plus time equals comedy.

It means that happiness fades, okay? And sadness dulls overtime-- it just does every time. But regret? That shit is real, man. That shit lingers.

Great script, great chemistry, awesome Ruiz.

This film is everything that I think of when I think of a war romantic drama, made even more dramatic by the fact that it was based on a true story. I find the chemistry between Alicia Vikander & Kit Harrington a bit lacking, but is made up by Vikander & Taron Egerton's playful bond.
