  I really liked this movie although it felt really montage-y towards the end. I get that this may be due to Priscilla herself not wanting it to go into detail about certain aspects that she may want to keep private and I respect that but it ended up making the end feel disjointed and I feel like there could have maybe been a way around this while still respecting her privacy. Like the end came and I was felt surprised like it didn’t feel like it wrapped up smoothly or super coherently. Still good tho and very pretty. Loved the costumes and the everything else basically.

  I had an uncontrollable visceral to this movie especially the ending. I sobbed uncontrollably even after leaving the theatre. I don’t really know why. I was enthralled the entire time and was astounded by the humanity it brought to such a notoriously dehumanized person. The only things that were questionable were the sequence at the very very end of the film and I also thought that Sadie Sinks character was excessively bitchy.   I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this movie (let alone read/watched/consumed the story of Romeo and Juliet in general) but it hits every time. Especially this movie I’m always like stupidly hoping that they’ll be able to be together 💔
