Half Brothers 2020
Despite it's good intentions and some decent scenes here and there, this film is a tonal wreck that can't decide in being a drama or a buddy road trip comedy. The Last Vermeer 2019
A very interesting story with excellent performances and is visually pleasing, despite it's messy storytelling, lack of engaging character development, and questionable liberties taken for dramatic effect. I can't say that I thought it was "bad," but it was definitely disappointing.
Overall: The Last Vermeer is worth a rental just for it's moments of the story and performances, but otherwise, you're better off reading the subject matter or watching a documentary on it.
