  This film has moments of brilliance and the dark tone is definitely what was missing from the previous film. The action was pretty cool and the character conflicts are believable and the outlook begins to look bleak.

  However this is definitely one of the weaker films. The main reason is that it feels unfinished, being the first part. The choice of what to cut shocks me. The interactions between characters that were staples of the plot were cut in exchange…

  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 2011

  This was an awesome film. A fantastic addition and conclusion to the franchise.
  The special effects were on point and the action scenes were very well done especially considering they had little to go off based on the books. This film is non stop action when it gets going and the twists and reveals are as good as expected.

  The main weakness of this film was the lack of character interactions and development and as a second part it felt confusing if you watched it on its own.

  Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows 2011

  Enjoyable film, especially with fish and chips. The best bits were again the characters interactions and the really cool action scenes. Especially the really cool bit with the artillery gun.

  However, Moriaty was a bit of a boring villain for most of it and there were only two real moments where I felt he was an intimidating adversary.
