  if you’re like me, right around when you think “wow this movie is kinda long” they start going really heavy on the racism allegory calling the technicolor people “colored” and like I’m not sure if there’s a way to make that come off appropriate…but the cast is very charming and I was pleasantly surprised by the emotional bandwidth! do u get it. pleasant like the movie because it’s pleasantville. Haha !

  one of the saddest films I’ve ever seen. not a single performance less than spectacular. charles melton is a star
