Castaway on the Moon 2009
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This movie does a lot of things really well, I just wanna list them out.
-It felt like a minor theme shown mostly in the beginning and end of the film was that society seemingly demands us to give up some degree of our empathy if we are to succeed within it. The drowning sequence I felt overall was pretty on the nose. A line from the ex-girlfriend seemed to encapsulate it well: "better to be mean than incapable".
