  The first thing that stood out to me about No Other Land is how authentically Yuval’s involvement in documenting and challenging the expulsion of Palestinians from Masafer Yatta is questioned as an “Israeli”. He’s well-intentioned, but it’s definitely difficult at times to square as a viewer (and for subjects of the film) when he is able to peacefully return to his family and house after all the activism he does.
