This movie was so well shot but the ending kinda and the shitty characters ruined it for me. This woman spends the whole movie trying to rectify the brutal murder of her daughter while completely ignoring her only living child, her son. She makes zero growth in this movie in anyway. Even her clothes don’t change. Why are you wearing coveralls to a gift shop? She never acted like she was ever abused. It felt like the movie was written…

So well written and complex. There’s something to look at differently every time you watch it. Loved how it left the ending so open and I found the characters so relatable. Very cool. Unique movie and it was not that long which I loved.

Crazy, Stupid, Love. 2011
Love all of the acting and the writing in this movie and the chemistry between the actors is so good. Truly a great ensemble cast. But the message of “if she doesn’t like you, just keep trying” is such bogus. That’s not at all how the world works and it’s creepy. If a woman doesn’t like you, pls stop bothering her. Would also like to see more movies of Julianne Moore and Emma stone as mother and daughter.
