מפאת חוסר זמן לכתוב ביקורת מסודרת, הנה הדעה הראשונית שכתבתי לאחר הצפייה בו בפסטיבל:
"פינק ליידי" הוא וואלה אחלה של סרט. מציג בצורה מאוד אמינה ואישית את הטיפול והיחס בחברה החרדית בענייני הומוסקסואליות וטיפולי המרה, ואיך זה משפיע גם על הבעל וגם על האישה. בשביל תסריט שהוא הראשון של התסריטאית שכתבה אותו, גם אם הדיאלוגים שלו לא תמיד הכי הכי מחוכמים, הוא כתוב במבנה טוב ומוקפד שדואג להציג דברים מראש עם פייאוף…

את הסרט הזה הכרתי לגמרי במקרה
חיפשתי במרשתת מה בקרוב יוצא
ונתקלתי בפוסטר שנראה די ייחודי
והופתעתי לגלות שהוא כלל ישראלי
אך מה שלכד עיניי היא הכותרת המשנית
שלוש מילים בולטות - ״אופרת ראפ בלשית״
הנחתי כך במיידית שזאת ארצה לראות
ועקבתי לאורך זמן בתזמוני העליות
חסכתי מעצמי ת׳טריילר ובפרסום לא נתקלתי
באתי רק בתחושה לעוד ״המילטון״ ו-״שם טוב האבי״
ואז הבנתי שהסרט הוא מעין פילם-נואר
והנחתי שבעברית זה יהיה מעט מוזר
אך הוחלט לתת צ׳אנס וללכת על הבליינד
וכשנגלה…

Mid film that tries to be epic and action-filled but falls completely on its face with the story being too generic and sometimes not comprehensive.
The VFX seemed not finished as you can clearly see when a green/blue screen was used, or when a model was dropped on top of a shot.
