The simplicity and humanity of most scenes are what made this film special to me. The ugly truths of life unfold before your eyes, unembellished, and that's why it lingers. It's not the movie itself as a creation that stays but the fact that its' essence feels familiar.

Broken arm, stomach pain—but it was always the heart that was breaking. It always came down to their heart. This film passed by too quickly, and I kept wondering why. Why can’t we just be souls? Why is purity taken away?
Leo breaking the fourth wall felt stigmatizing, his eyes spoke volumes. It was the silence that was heard the clearest in this movie.
