  Interesting- occasionally powerful. But mostly, sort of… pretentious ? I respect the big swings, but the meandering snapshot narrative didn’t do too much for me. Occasionally felt a bit studenty to me which is probably sacrilege because people love this movie so much- but I didn’t get the hype

  Just outstanding. Performances, visuals- story- so so funny- and such an amazing exploration of female sexuality- uncomfortable at beginning, but audience gets behind it. Felt a bit long at end- but I think on second viewing I’ll appreciate that more. Never drops the ball

  Great movie. Weird watching this with new eyes after eight years. The silences are so amazing in the first 3/4! The one bum note is that exposition scene with driver and Shannon. Tone, performances, cinematography= amazing. Great choice of shots
