this was released last year ?! good lord, i thought it was mid-2010s
look i mean yeah ? but also what the fuck ? butttt also you could’ve just stood there and caught the first kid…yeah you might’ve been crushed (it was very high) is that victim-blaming ? who knows. i would’ve preferred bloody murder but i guess killing the boys parents so you can adopt him is also vaguely valid

This Is Going to Hurt 2022
binged this in 24hrs when I should’ve been writing an essay but I consider it well worth it. Did not expect the twist ending (or *the* wedding lake conversation) but it left me with high hopes. Having read the book years prior I knew I was in for a barrage of underfunded NHS stories, but I kinda love how it shines a spotlight on something that is particularly important, considering the last two years. Ben made an excellent Adam, and I’m keen to re read the book, as well as the sequel that comes out in September ‘22!
