Hugo 2011
11 years away from my family I only spend a couple of weeks with them in total every year. On my last day with them, before I leave again for 9 months, I randomly watched this movie with my father. It could have been any other movie, but no other movie would fit the moment as perfect as this one. There was something relatable to Hugo’ life with my father’s child years and that made me understand him (my father) a little bit more.
Although not a fan of the first half of the movie, I change my mind dramatically on the second half.
