  Ridley Scott once again proves that he can make a lot of okay movies. Well done Ridley! In all honesty I have to respect the scope of Gladiator II. It’s rare you to see modern cinema with so many sets, locations, crowds etc. Too often historical epics are reduced for budgetary reasons but Ridley’s got the star power to force it through. That in mind, it is still a quite naff and silly. 

  “The dream of Rome” is anachronistic Hollywood…
