Nolan's best IMO. I really like his work when he's focused on a character in an extraordinary circumstance instead of complex sci-fi. The spectacle is certainly on display but it is not the feature. Maybe it's ditching his brother (I at least didn't see him listed in the credits)? It was nice to hear Nolan work with a composer who can write a melody. It served the film well.

The Lego Ninjago Movie 2017
I looked at the title of this film and knew I was in the hands of competent filmmakers. If you remove the "i" and "a" from the title, which are, of course, the symbols of identity and particularity, respectively, you get "nnj-go". Nonsense, followed by a command to "Go." What better encapsulation of the central theme of the film? Lloyd, who is at the outset of the film who is both the Green Ninja AND the Son of Garmaddon, but…
