On a rewatch, this movie is so satisfying. Knowing the general premise going in helped alleviate the confusion of the irregularity of the scenes. The camera work, acting and writing were elite. Really enjoyed Steven Buscemi & Tim Roth this go round too.

Piece By Piece 2024
As a Hampton Roads native, this movie had multiple moments where I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. It almost had the same feeling of attending the first Something in the Water festival. In sheer awe that the Virginia Beach boardwalk is hosting JayZ & Beyoncé, with a KAWS companion on the sand & a Louis Vuitton sand castle. This movie delivers on all those same feelings.

Don’t know if Clooney ever took a role where he wasn’t cool as hell. But the ending shock gave this movie a slight boost. Could’ve been 20 mins shorter and same point would get across.
