  solid movie but my god I can’t do cringe humor. It makes me so uncomfortable and sad and I cringe so hard :’) 

  also the final scenes with Robbie were WILD people could just put anything in movies back then huh

  awesome movie, very trippy. I love the idea of a horror movie set in a place with overwhelming sunlight. executed very well. And yeah, the overall aesthetics really adds to the whole uncanny valley-ish vibe of this film.

  I know I’m wrong with my opinion. I’m gonna say it anyways.

  I *hated* this movie. It took me three tries to get through it and I still hated it. I’m not missing the point. I get the idea. It’s just dumb. I want those 4 hours of my life back. boring. repetitive. slow (for the most part). 

  but more than anything it’s just so… so….. SOOOO pretentious.

  I’m so glad that this standalone movie (which does not have a sequel) was released when I was a child so that I could enjoy this film (only this film, as there is no sequel) when I was both young and old. It just gets better with age. Like a fine wine. A completely singular, stand-alone movie with no potential for a sequel whatsoever so thank heavens no corporation got greedy and tried to do that.
