Western animation has been saved, truly a masterpiece. If you are holding out on this gem because you haven't watched the first movie, I implore you to watch that as well.

One of the most beautiful movies I have experienced.
Packed with action but don't let it distract you from the gruesome reality of this dystopian future, reminds us all how magnificent children are. My favorite scene is when all forces ceased fire in the presence of the child, felt like time had stopped and the audience was allowed to take in this moment before the shit resumed to hit the fan.

This is the pinnacle of stop-motion technology. With a talented cast and a surreal writer it is indeed a shame how this movie never got an Oscar. Emmet, the selfless hero, does everything in his power to protect his world even though the world does not see eye-to-eye with him.
