Band of Brothers 2001
One of the most heartbreaking moments of this show has to be Buck screaming for a medic, completely broken by seeing his two friends shelled. The psychological break of what was once the funny, happy-go-lucky member of Easy company is gut wrenching.
Eugene’s episode has to be my favourite though for the absolute relentlessness of the medics and the bravery they exhibited every day without weapons to save men. The ability to pick yourself up and go again from the dying to the dead to the brutally wounded. Stunning writing and brilliant performances.
A huge achievement in tv history.
