I never shut up about movies
So glad I finally got a chance to watch Sing Sing on the big screen earlier tonight. It is such a tender and vulnerable story about community, and a poignant testament to the healing and liberating power that art holds, even within a flawed system designed to oppress. Really sits with you right up until the end of the credits.

Barbarian had me shaking my head throughout the film, because how can one character make so many wrong decisions.

I find that the horror genre for a while now has just relied on over-recycled cliche tropes and cheap jump scares. However, Barbarian was a breath of fresh air, subverting our expectations within the first half of the movie and leaving us with no idea of what could come next.
