i went in expecting this to not be a feminist masterpiece or anything which maybe helped me in taking this in bit better. i wouldn’t say it says much about real life women’s liberation or sexual awakening or so.
i think it rather for me was interesting in the way of bella becoming socialized into the society’s ideals of sexuality and being as a woman somehow. like i believe the part in paris was her being socialized into capitalistic system…
