So incredibly bitter because it was so close to a 5 star rating then took a complete u-turn. Everything it was setting up to do and left it midway.
A broken moral compass this film is.
This would’ve worked for me if it wasn’t for the holocaust background coz I did really like the character dynamics of the cousins. There were so many complex emotions in their relationship which could’ve been explored more had it been the sole focus of the film. Also the general chemistry between the two leads was great which made the film enjoyable to watch for the most part.
