    I wanted to like this SO much more than I actually did. There was plenty here that made my skin crawl, and swiftly regret my decision to watch this fully in the dark.     I would destroy galaxies for that adorable little fishy kaiju baby.

    All in all, as little as I know about the Ultraman IP - which is to say, pretty much nothing aside from what was in this movie - this was a splendid watch, and it fills a nice kaiju-shaped hole in my soul.
