Most sequels fail to capture the same essence of the previous film(s) and are usually not nearly as good as the ones it follows. Gladiator II does an excellent job in connecting the two movies together. As someone who loves military history I loved the fine details that are included in the movie. A perfect mix of beautiful battle scenes, and drama filled politics.

USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage 2016
WW2 Jaws movie. Half of the film focuses on the shark infested waters the sailors were in. Although the movie captures the historical accounts from sailor’s as to the fate of the USS Indianapolis very well, half the film was spent in the water. I like it more then most because it’s a movie about a little untold story about how the US government in classic style hides its mistakes and finds a different person to put the blame on.
