The epilogue really knocks this down a notch for me - bizarre choice. Part 1 is entirely lovely though, I am still hearing the score, and if you’re not going to fully stick the landing, you might as well do it in VistaVision.

Queer 2024
I thoroughly enjoyed the last 30 or so minutes of this (though it could have ended 16 times and have the same effect). But it’s hard to stay with a film this long with so little to give with dialogue, and I don’t think it pulls it off fully. The skin dance was great. The soundtrack was questionable (no more nirvana covers in 2025 please).

Good god. A random character with Down syndrome hides under rubble for two hours until the end of the movie, gets up, looks around, and then gets crushed by a wave of rainbow-colored snakes. Utterly deranged. It’s awesome. Don’t watch it.
