It is not “sexy” or “mysterious showgirl” of me to come out of the theatre crying
That being said, very pretty film with stand out STAND OUT performances by Pam Anderson and Dave Bautista. However, for 89 minutes of movie time, I would’ve liked a little more substance in terms of the story and maybe less glitzy dancing montages as there were many scenes and plotlines that needed more time and space to breathe but eh 🤷
Again, did I forget to mention how captivating Pam Anderson was?

I’m pretty blown away!
For a film where my expectations were of a film about sex, Russians, oligarchs and Brighton Beach, I’d say they were matched, but exceeded massively in a way that really surprised me I left the cinema having seen a fantastic, funny and intensely sobering film with some amazing acting from Mickey Madison, Yura Borisov and Mark Edelshteyn.
