12 Angry Men 1957
Probably can't add anything here that hasn't been said before, but to me, this film encapsulates what I love in movies. The best movies to me are the ones that suck you in, the ones that make you care for the story and characters, the ones that you feel like you are inside their universe. This movie gripped me from start to finish, and you really felt every emotion. The jurors were written marvelously, and the fact that each one had a unique personality gave the movie such life.

Positives first: I think it’s cool that this movie has a well thought out plot and is actually filmed pretty well. That aside, there is genuinely nothing else I can give this movie. I think this movie is probably the most devoid of emotion or substance that I have seen. I was bored for the entire runtime, and I couldn’t even understand what was happening. Even if I could understand what was happening, I simply couldn’t find the capacity to care just because this movie doesn’t give you a reason to care. There’s nothing in this movie past the plot.

“In a row??”
Despite having one setting and just a couple actors, this movie manages to tell a very captivating story of two friends and all the shit happening in their lives. The comedy is raunchy and well written, with many of the jokes landing. I love Randal’s character the most, but all the characters felt unique in their own way. Overall, 8/10.Translated from by
