Good, if we exclude the irritating abundance of music elements, some cringe character paths and face expressions. Dr. Gaul and Lucky Flickerman served tho, they delivered.

Even if he didn't do what he said he did, that mf Jonathan deserved bigger punishment for even thinking about doing it.

I came to watch this movie without setting my expactions too high, as a casual D&D player. But oh my, was it amazing! It's easy to get cringe if the plot is not written well, but this turned out really well. The plot is good, the character representation is good and, if you are a player, you can relate to a lot of situations, rolling 20s and rolling 1s. Even if you don't follow the game, you can enjoy it, as it's a classic adventure movie with all features. 2 hours well spent.

This is what a classic superhero movie should look like. The story line is good, it's witty and funny, which matches the ambience and characters. Humans and their superhero forms are in sync and well-matched. Production is decent and this is how DC and WB should use their energy. Excited, but also a bit concerned with what's the next step for Shazam. Hopefully, the opportunity for something new and upgraded won't be wasted and this traction of well-made superhero movies will stick with Shazam, unlike the Black Adam flop. Keep it up!
