Without a doubt, the best movie of the last decade. A masterpiece at storytelling. Every element that was set up was paid off, every cut had a purpose, every shot had information, no moment of suspense fell short, no moment of humor felt out of place. The movie is completely unpredictable.

I need to preface by saying I missed the first 15 minutes of the Irishman. But I’m sure It won’t change how I feel about this film. I loved it and I won’t argue as to where it stands amongst Scorsese’s other great films but it is way up there. If it wasn’t made clear by the spoiler warning before, this is me warning you now that there are spoilers in this review.BEWARE.

Amazing movie to watch. I was entertained the whole time, on the edge of my seat. Towards the end there's a revelation of Chris Evan's character that really makes his arc unique and darker than you expected. Things that he says you would think would make you despise him but for some reason you sympathize with him which I thought was really impressive. I highly recommend a video to watch after seeing this movie that claims Snowpiercer is a sequel to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Sounds bogus at first but wait till you get to the end of the video.
