Full Metal Jacket 1987
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
It’s a movie that holds up & to find out it was made in 1987 with the quality of the cinematography was stunning. I enjoyed following the characters. The journey from civilian to armed solider trained to kill encapsulated my attention.
I did however want to see the Vietnam jungle. But there are other movies that feature that, for example Platoon (1986).
Overall I was interested throughout and would recommend to anyone interested in war films or history.

I enjoyed some of the artillery spec scenes and the first half of the movie. 2/3rds in was predictable. But they saved it in the last 3rd with side characters having more substance and story.
Overall give it a watch 😎

Beautifully shot. Absolutely was a film, not just a ‘movie’. The score kept me engaged and it has a unique feel. Plus i liked how the narrative unraveled. Bella doing the coolest stuff of human brain. I laughed a lot and quote her *squish squish*
