Even though Sang-hoon tried to redeem himself, he still had to pay the consequences of his actions. Sadly, everyone else around him had to deal with it.
Also, the ending scene hits like a truck, couldn't have been better.

Never thought that it would live up to the level of the first movie, really glad to see how they developed the whole story. Beautiful cinematography, got some good laughs too... Couldn't have it better.
