  y’all are hating but this movie would’ve had us GAGGED if it was released in 2010. It’s such a bummer that it didn’t come out during the young adult dystopian hype era considering the book it’s based on was published wayyy before most them in 2005. It’s nice to see an author I discovered during my childhood finally getting his flowers, but i wish they could’ve you know… updated and bettered the storyline? now that we’ve been through the dystopian…

  This film is as a prime example of the theory of Chekov’s Gun, in my eyes. Every little detail meant something and it all came together brilliantly and mind-blowingly by the end. Every thread of the plot was woven together so carefully and intricately to create the sequence of action-packed events in this movie. 

  I was honestly expecting this movie to be some generic Hollywood blockbuster, but I was so pleasantly surprised by every element and the humor really topped it all off for me. It was so camp and I never would’ve guessed any of the plot twists. WOAH.😭🙏🏽
