Shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that the colors in this movie went insane, but I didn't expect the music would, too. I left the theater a little disappointed that so much was left to subtext cuz some people (as evidenced by comments on the top review) have no media literacy. But I think everything came through. Felt a little long, but it was cute as hell.

RUSHED back to town after Caught By The Tides and managed to get in during the opening credits. Some old guy ripped a huge fart shortly after. I can see why this is one of the best rated movies of all-time.
So here's the deal. I went to the film festival 40 minutes away to see Caught By The Tides, but instead I looked like a doofus showing up a day early for the movie. Totally messed up my schedule for this weekend! Out of an acceptance of my fate, I assumed they'd be showing something good today, so I stuck around and saw this.
I'm glad I did! The movie has a distinct, independent style that I really enjoyed watching. Well-shot and got me to cry.
