    I knew I’d love this just because I tend to spaz out over genuinely good gothic horror (Bloodborne playthrough imminent…) and also Eggers has yet to let me down. It’s peak. It’s kino. My initial impressions were great but it’s definitely lingering and I think I like it a little more now. I first had concerns about how Eggers adapting another piece of film might work out but he honestly does it with ease.
