  the cinematography and staging is super pretty. i found the woman's character to be super powerful although i did not enjoy some scenes where it felt like she was encouraged to play into the role of the stereotypical societal definition of what it means to be a woman. the passion for surfboarding is beautiful ... makes me wanna learn
