Snowden 2016
after watching citizen 4, i was pleasantly surprised by how charismatic, humble, and entertaining the actual edward snowden is. joseph gordon-levitt has managed to do a worse job portraying this than a single slice of white bread.
maybe i’m just jaded but i almost threw up when shailene woodley coyly remarks how “smart conservatives” annoy her and then kisses him IN THE MIDST of a anti busch rally :/
this movie could be much shorter were it not for snowden’s life flashing before his eyes in little vignettes before he has a seizure.
nicholas cage holds up in this. that’s it.
