    I understand what this comedy was going for, although heartfelt, there were times in which it felt like a parody. The biggest turn off for me was the performative “girl boss”-esque persona forced upon characters, I think it could've worked if it were developed in a smoother manner. The movie isn’t terrible, seeing it with a close friend made it more enjoyable than an alone viewing experience by a mile. 

    Whats with the whole “malala” thing? It felt tone deaf. 

    5/10 - not bad, not amazing, a fun watch
