I haven’t read the book, but I feel that the movie explores a really difficult and heartbreaking topic in a really weird way. Despite the bad marketing and the controversy surrounding Blake, the film includes some empowering scenes, like the 'What would you say to her?' dialogue. Still, there are some parts that almost romanticize the issue? Idk, the only thing I kind of liked was having Ethel Cain and Lana on the soundtrack so yeah…
