Turning Red 2022
i don’t even know what to put. “watch me gyrate”, “my panda my choice”, the band being called 4*town but there being five boys. it just felt quite awkward to watch. nevertheless, it’s nice to see periods and teenage hood being represented - i suppose it’s meant to feel awkward. i’m not sure i just got a bit bored and the ending wasn’t anything incredible. worth watching if you are a fan of disney but definitely not one to put at the top of the list

a brilliant film, i actually struggled to take my eyes off of the screen - love millie’s performance in this, the plot, the ending, everything. although the movie is two hours, it certainly feels like it should be on for even longer and i hope that there will be a sequel. i loved how élodie (millie) throughout everything that happened to her, she still chose kindness.
