  The romantic cinematography was dreamlike - those camera pans!!! Felt like a stage play and the cinematographer did such a good job with the darkness! Bit slow for me and not a huge fan of the Dracula story but the viewing journey is an experience in itself

  I wonder how many rushes of brooding Dev Patel have gone unseen... a classic revenge action which breaks out of the mould by tackling some political hot topics. The central thread being faith and its corruption, with a climactic moment where archive of political unrest seemingly bursts through the quintessentially choreographed fight montage - we glimpse the reality of the violence through the seams of the film. The neon cinematography recalls Blade Runner and John Wick 4 but Monkey Man brings a whole new light to revenge action.
