It is easy to remain lonely, especially in a city as densely populated as Mumbai, yet this endearing fable-like story reminds the audience that community is only ever a few interactions away.

Winter on Fire: Ukraine's Fight for Freedom 2015
'Nobody judges them'
A documentary everyone should be required to watch. Terrifyingly uncomfortable and yet awe-inspiring, this doc perfectly captures the resilience and honour of the Ukrainian people.Translated from by

Cléo from 5 to 7 1962
"Either I'm an idiot or a China doll"
A film with such vitality you barely realise it's almost entirely in monochrome. The French New Wave era challenged audiences but Varda's uniquely female perspective sets Célo from 5 to 7 apart. Following Célo in real time, the audience is forced to empathise as she wrestles with her mortality and consider what we would feel and how we would act if we too believed death was upon us.
Ultimately, Varda allows her protagonist to breath, to be introspective and endearingly vain which I adored. Recommend ✨️Translated from by -
Hunt for the Wilderpeople 2016
Coming of age narratives have always been in Taika Waititi's wheelhouse but 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople' feels...magestical? A movie that, at its core, is about grief finds the time for it's characters to be vulnerable while still humouring us with Waititi's trademark whimsical irreverence. Would recommend.
