  imagine being demi moore and thinking you look old and expired lol. this plot reminds me of ahs coven in a way of wanting to look young forever, younger women being a threat to your own beauty/being, etc. 

  enjoyed this movie although i felt my skin crawl (literally!) and had to look away at some parts. also just loved how it was shot. AND SUE GOT SOME KICKS.

  felt like the writers who wrote this script probably based it on LA stereotypes or how they imagine LA to be and not what it actually is — the main character was so stereotypical LA cringe (like who unpromptly tells someone “sounds like your EQ’s off”?). anyway writing could’ve gone a whole lot better but if you take the film as a fun lil movie, then its a fine watch.

  also only giving five stars bc florian was part of the team behind this and i support flo otherwise it’s a 2/5 for me dawg <3

  A Summer's Tale 1996

  beautifully filmed and made me miss a summer in france a lot 🥲 script wasn’t riveting but maybe it was just meant for the vibes. this film’s purpose (imo) was to showcase how emotions/plans/relationships/life can change in fleeting moments, just like the summer (gaspard finally choosing margot in the end but margot’s man finally reaches out to her and so she doesn’t want to progress romantically with gaspard).
