If True Romance was made now with none of the weird racism i think i would've loved the homage to the manic pixie girl/self-pleasured self-insert. I'll give credit of my enjoyment to Tony Scott, the incredible cast, and the amazing sets/costuming. I don't want to give Tarantino the credit because I think he just wanted to jerk off to his ideal dreamscape where the nerd gets the hottie and never does wrong.
