Lost Highway 1997
Got to see this in theaters which was a great experience. More than anything I love Lynch’s ability to mix deadpan humor, melodrama, and horror at the same time — sometimes even in the same scene. You never can exactly predict what’s coming next but when it happens it always seems logical. Another classic example of Lynch’s ability to personify the underlying paranoia which we constantly feel around us.
