  I can attest that this horror comedy romance is an extremely accurate depiction of what life was like as a teenager in 1999, a historical document to be referenced by future generations. Everything that happens before midnight at least.

  This opera comes off as satire sometimes when looked at as individual numbers. Honestly I'm happy about how original this was, I was waiting for it to be terrible because of the Bangkok scene, however I'm glad I gave it a chance. Some of the songs and choreography are technically impressive, some are just strikingly unserious compared to the tragic story of the truth coming too late.
