  Given the premise (damsel in distress/flipped) I’d say the ideas in this movies are not bad. The ancient pact, the sacrifice, the lies… intriguing.

  The execution tho… oof. Completely uninspired.

  CGI hodgepodge, squeaky clean costumes, janky editing… let’s not beat the dead horse. What I truly find problematic is the writing - a fault many contemporary productions share, especially in the Netflix catalogue.
